  OK, missing features

  It’s OK, but very basic. BUG: If you forgot to pause activity and put your laptop to sleep it should not record the time while laptop was off. In fact it I think it should stop the activity once you close the laptop. Feature request: Pomodoro support

  Very limited usefulness

  When I purchased the app, I was under the impression one could start a segment of work and give a brief description to the work being done. Perhaps that would roll up under a general category (e.g. the colors in the screenshots). Unfortunately the app does not allow you to add any sort of details for each “zone” that is tracked. You can only give a broad title that is used every time you start a zone, but you cannot change it without changing all other zones of the same type. Also, you are only allowed to pick from 8 colors, so if you start adding many categories it can become difficult to visually discern them. In short, it’s not overly useful unless all you care about is an absolutely basic time time tracker.

  How my feelings changed from love to hate

  At first I felt like that's exactly what I need and I was very pleased with what I saw. But when I tried to actually use it I found a lot of bugs that I filed to the developer and had no reply at all. Along with the bugs I asked for a small feature to allow optional showing of the total time for the day in the menubar near the icon and as I said I got no reply. The app is unusable for me in it's current state. And it would be OK for me if the developer would've at least said something like "Sorry, I think this feature is redundant" or something like that but I got nothing and now you have 1 star from me.
