Awesome, but Desperately Overdue for a few Fixes

Overall, Kiwi is a great email client. I've been using the app for about three years, since it was in Beta. The ability to organize multiple emails, easily, and use Google drive within the app for connected accounts is fantstic. However, as a long-time user, I'm a bit frustrated at how often the app crashes. For me, a crash occurs about once every other day. I'm using Kiwi on a 2020 PC running PC Big Sure with 16gb ram, so it should not crash this often. Occasionally needing to rebott the app is of less concern to me than the absence of one key feature — There is no way to merge all windows. Unlike in apps like Preview or Safari, if you open multiple windows, they will stay open in seperate windows, and cannot be merged as tabs within a single pane. As a result, you'll have 20 windows open before you know it. Finally, a tip for those who frequently use the paste and match style shortcut, which is normally: Command Option Shift V. In Kiwi, however, the shortcut is Shift Command V.

    Impressive

An extremely efficient way of keeping track of several Gmail accounts. Notifications for new mail arrive instantly. One small nitpick is that the unread count takes a while to update (back to an absence of the count) if I have read (and deleted) a newly incoming email elsewhere (in the browser, where I keep an Inbox by Gmail tab open, or on my phone). Also, somehow Google Keep is absent from the left navbar of my copy of Kiwi, although I have seen it on some screenshots out in the wild (my window has an icon for Google Slides, which I don’t use; and I haven’t found a way to remove Slides but add Keep in the settings—so this would be my feature request). But other than these two little things, being able to forego a ton of browser tabs is a blessing. One note after reading some of the other comments: if you ever implement calendar notifications, please make an option in the settings to turn those off, bc my phone does that just fine. Whoever in the comments was complaining about no easy way to refresh: clicking on Inbox or All Mail (whichever is your preferred view) a couple of times refreshes the Gmail window.

    Great App

This has been a great app for what it is. Although the app is basically a separate browser, it’s built to look like and operate as an application - which removes the need to have your GSuite apps open in browser tabs. It’s quick and convenient to use, and does a good job separating and maintaining multiple accounts. Hubspot integration that works in the browser does not seem to work in Kiwi yet, this would be a good addition. The only thing I would have liked that the app does not do is to have the app do more to display GSuite and Gmail differently. I like the left side menu - it gives a fast, convenient way to access the main parts of GSuite, however I never liked the way that Gmail laid out or dealt with folders. Not sure if the developers plan on taking the app that far or not - I would love to see Google Drive be more like an FTP client, would love to see Gmail laid out differently - more like a traditional email client. All in all the app works great and I will continue to use it for all my Google accounts. I would recommend it to anyone who is considering using it for their Gmail/GSuite accounts.

I love Kiwi and I recommend it to everyone I know using Google.

I work in an office that runs almost exclusively on gmail and other google products like Drive, Sheets, Docs, etc. I’m fastidious about keeping unused windows and applications closed on my computer and I hate the clutter of multiple tabs, so keeping all of these things open in my browser was a nightmare. Not to mention the hundreds of times I quit my web browser out of habit and then had to reopen everything. But by far, the very best feature that Kiwi offers is the ease of checking multiple gmail accounts. I have 3 email accounts that I check several times a day, and I’m constantly needing to add things to my work, personal and family calendars. It’s a NIGHTMARE having to constantly sign out and sign back in in a web browser was awful. Kiwi was SUPER affordable and offered SO MUCH VALUE. Considering how much I love Kiwi now, and how critical it is to my hour to hour needs, I would happily pay triple the price to continue using this product. I do wish they would add the dropbox integration that gmail has now.

Great for multiple accounts, but too many windows

I've been using Kiwi for years to manage 3-4 gmail accounts. I've loved the interface and ease of use for years. However, I've recently become frustrated with the number of windows it produces. Quickly finding a specific window can be challenging since everything falls under the Kiwi app in the dock. If I quit the Kiwi app in an attempt to close out the 10 windows I've opened, they are all automatically restored when I reopen Kiwi. I wish there was an option to prevent everything from opening in a new window and navigate the Google apps from within a single window. I love the idea of each Google app functioning as a stand-alone Windows app, but it's just too cumbersome to navigate in the dock. I've been trying to find alternatives to Kiwi that implement the one-window feature (such as Shift), but unfortunately I've yet to find anything as smooth as Kiwi to integrate all of the Google apps. I keep going back to Kiwi, although somewhat grugingly at this point. If they could implement some way to manage the numerous windows produced from opening several apps in different accounts, this app would be perfect.
