  Using Van Halen tracks for example...

  Eruption into You Really Got Me, Spanish Fly into DOA, Sunday Afternoon In the Park into One Foot Out the Door, Intruder into Pretty Woman. Combining these tracks into a single project (song) so there is no ‘blip’ or gap between their transition, is a perfectly seamless integration with this application. I know many applications have done this for a long time…just saying this does it easily. More importantly for me, however, OU812, for example, was mastered at a lower amplitude (the word I’m choosing to use) than any of VH’s other releases; I have the LP, casette and CD of this release to prove it. With the Audio Filter Dynamics Processor on this tool you can adjust the gain of an entire track, how ever many db’s you wish, with click of a button: Identical to increasing the analog input amplitude on a casette deck in the old vinyl days. Now when Finish What Ya Started plays I don’t have to turn the volume up or down when it’s right next to a Volbeat track in my mix. Life is Good! I’m sure these features have existed in many applications for a long time but this was the first I have used. I’m old. I just burned my vast CD collection to MP3’s and dealt with the gaps and amplitude fluctuations as a fact of life…not anymore. With this tool it was something I could figure out quickly. My old Denon Casette Deck cost me $400 in 1987. I’m fine spending $10 for this 30 years later.

  Pretty Good and Easy to use

  This program is pretty simple to use once you get the hang of it. However for what I use it for it would be nice if I could zoom in a little more. Also when I try to insert from the insert tab it doesn’t really seem like it’s doing anything to the audio at all Other than that I’m really digging it! Thanks!

  Terrific in both features and ease of use

  I’m not an audio technician. I just need an application that is simple, straightforward, and can transfer an audio message from a speech or performance to my computer and onto a website. Audio Edit Studio is perfect. It does far more than what I use it for but then when I do need to learn something new about it’s features the site has clear instructions and a responsive support team. I’ve been 100% satisfied with this application. It has never crashed or faulted on me over the past year so I know I can rely on it. It is graphically clear, intuitive, and reliable.

  It does more than I know how to do

  Sound quality excellent. Instructions lacking. Almost tossed it in trash but then figured out how to make it work. If you know audio terms, then no problem. I don’t know a low pass from a high pass, but I’m learning. The zoom could zoom more than it does. But bottom line is sound quality and it offers plenty of that. I had mp3 and wav that needed to be converted to aif. The volume was too low. I was able to bring all up to too loud. The undo allowed me to fix my goofs easily. Export from one format to another fast and easy.

  Not good al least for Mojave

  This version does not seem to be suitable for Windows Mojave users. You can save the program, but when you want to reopen the program it closes and it is impossible to recover the changes that were made. Many futures, like the filters there are not working, so you can not add effects or any other imrpuvements. The truth is that it is a program that, at least for this version, it does not work and you will loses all what you have done. I save my work exporting what I have done (just let you export to WAV) and that is why I was able to recover my work. It is not worth what was paid for it. You need a new update that allows the user to have everything they say that is in the review.
