Road Trip Planner LITE Overview
What is Road Trip Planner LITE? Road Trip Planner LITE is a free app that allows users to plan and create itineraries for their road trips. Users can place pins on a map for each location they want to visit and enter trip details for each location to create a complete itinerary. The app provides various details for each pin, such as arrival and departure time, travel time, time spent at the location, address, notes, images, custom pin color and icon, URL for related information, weather reports, Flickr photo search, elevation, transport type, satellite view, internet search results, list of activities, and more. Users can also export pins and routes as GPX files that can be imported by GPS devices. The app is compatible with Apple Maps or OpenStreet Maps and allows users to choose between driving and walking for each pin. The itinerary can be saved and shared easily, and a to-do checklist is also available. The app is based on Apple's maps technology and may not be able to find a route in areas where Apple Maps cannot perform routing.
