      A+ for effort

As a fan of CYOA books and the epic X-Files game from a decade ago I was excited that this game existed and have already shared the link with several friends. The soundtrack is fitting without being annoying, film quality is above the bar. The story is interesting and the actors are good. The scripted cursing is a little over done. I’m not opposed to curse words for effect but this guy curses for absolutely no reason. Would love to see more choices that actual change the direction of the story and more user interactive keypads. etc. but overall its pretty fun. Haven’t gotten to the ending yet but I hope it’s not corny. Going to give it 5 stars instead to subtracting one for issues above because I hope they will continue to make more. *** adding a correction and another star. The above about more choices was based on only playing the game once. On 2nd try there are vastly different scenes and scenarios. Playing it safe leads to less choices.

      Original and Really good.

Late Shift is a game that is interesting and original, a quality that is very much missing when it comes to games on the AppStore. While the story itself is a run of the mill heist that has things you'd see in just about every movie of a similar plot line, the choices and the branching paths make it feel like something you haven't seen before. It doesn't feel like it was made by amateurs and that acting is serviceable, especially in the case of the protagonist Matt. The biggest problem with this game is it is easy to tell which choices mattered and which didn't while playing, similar to the problem that Telltale games have. Overall, a good game to play that has a lot of replay value.

      Impossible password?

I really enjoyed playing through this, but there’s a point where you have to enter a computer password. I looked into it, and not only is accessing the computer needed for the best ending, but this game on Steam or PS4 don’t include the password part anyway! I don’t know if I’m just stupid, but I could not figure out the password for the life of me, and there aren’t any walkthroughs or wiki articles that have the answer. Help!!

      The future of movies/stopped working.

This is an innovative way to watch a movie, and the future of movie watching no doubt. The only problem is I bought this years ago enjoying the app only to remember it again now, and it no longer works. I can get to the subway in the first episode, but then it stops there not letting me go any further. I can only go backwards to get stuck back at the subway. Frustrating! I would gladly buy again if it would work for me. I feel like I’m being punished for buying it, and putting it down for a few years.

Well done, iOS download is disappointing

Great concept and game, but the download experience is terrible. I have 200gb free on my phone, but I have to manually install each chapter? They take entirely too long to download, inexplicably, since other files of such sizes are finished in minutes. Better to download this one on Microsoft TV.
