Brain Games Overview

What is Brain Games? Brain Games: Words & Numbers is a brain training app that offers two game modes - Words and Numbers. In the Words mode, players swipe over letter tiles to spell words and earn NeuroStars for every 20 words found. The game has two levels - 100 words and 200 words - and players can earn bonus NeuroStars for completing each level. In the Numbers mode, players swipe over number tiles to add them and match the target. They earn NeuroStars for every 20 targets solved and can earn bonus NeuroStars for completing the game. The app also offers clues to help players and a dictionary to check the definition of words. It is a universal app that can be played on multiple devices and offers GameCenter integration for competing on leaderboards and earning achievements. The app also features iCloud Sync and a flip screen option for left-handed players or those playing on an iPad.

    Go-To Brain Game!

    OM GOODNESS! I love this game!! It not only helps me reduce stress, but also increases my vocabulary, shows me words I missed (by clicking on the LIST button). You can even get the definition of a "clue" word, should you not know it!! I even love the numbers game!! It's great too! I found a little trick to playing it (not on purpose) that made it a little too easy. However, I just test myself for speed in solving each game! I suggest buying the app that gets rid of the pop-up adds. They definitely interrupt the game! Happy Brain Gaming!

    Stays fresh, fun, but flawed

    The dictionary is pretty reasonable, better than some of the other Boggle type games out there, although it seems to favor British slang over American and once in a while mystifies me by not accepting a common word. My other gripe is that the clues sometimes count down when I haven’t used them- suddenly going from 16 available to 2 when I’ve only used 1. All that said, I’m addicted to this game and have played many many rounds. One thing I like is that it ends the game at 100 points, rather than dragging on and on until you find every possible word. It stays fresh that way.

    I like it!

    I like the Words game more than the Numbers. The Numbers game is good too but you can pretty much swipe any numbers to get to the total needed easily. The Words games are more challenging, where your brain works to look at the letters in all directions and all different ways. I've learned a lot of new words too. I downloaded a few brain games recently on about the same day and this is the one I've kept and played nonstop since then!

    Good time passer

    I like that you can pick up where you left off. I don’t like games that have a timer. If you put it down and pick it up a while later you will be astounded at how many more words you see the second time around. It takes forever to add extra pointsBut rarely do I need to use the help of points, I can usually find the words on my own. Often times in minutes.

    I love this game! I love that you have unlimited time to work on it and keep at it until you can find a hundred words. I also love that you can save it and work at it for as many times as you have the competitive spirit to go on. I never start a new game before I get to a hundred. I never get tired of this game. I try to beat my times.
