works great
Best price, and i like that you can drag and drop and do batch conversions. The one thing i would like to see added is a count for the queue. Got the job done and seemed pretty quick.
Works for what I need
I had to figure out a way to download music from itunes to my husband’s USB memory stick for his truck stereo. This app allows me to take the music on my PC and transfer it to the USB stick. iTunes would not let me download to anything but cd, no sync, nada… So it was great when I figured out I could just highlight the songs and drag them over to this app… What a great app this has been for me!
disappointing interface
I have a library of FLAC files organized in folders by artist and album. Unfortunately this app doesn’t do batch conversion on folders. Also doesn’t have any settings for compressed formats, so I have no idea what quality you’ll get if you choose MP3 or AAC. It could definitely use some user interface enhancements as well (after I’m done converting, can I clear the queue?). Works ok for $2, but I want more.
Slower than others
Quite a bit slower to convert than other product I use (SmartConverter Pro), but most disappointing is yet another one that won’t concatenate through directories to pick up files to convert… seems like a simple request, I have 50,000 music files, dragging them one at a time is pretty 1990’s…
