  not worth $2

  Sadly I purchased without reading the reviews…shame on me. if all you want is animated wallpaper, just surf into a website or other place that has animations for free, and a much larger selection. This app has very few background options, which is disappointing. Upon first launch, it asks to use your location, and being typically wary of such things, I wanted to check out the net traffic to see what it was sending/receiving before giving permission to use my location. Without location, it cannot display weather, because you cannot SET the location, it figures that out dynamically. And now I cannot grant permission, because there is no preference to do so. So I cannot have weather info. Neither the clock nor the weather info font size can be adjusted. So the whole thing is useless for my needs. I wanted something for my elderly mother to have a date/day/time display. But without the font adjustments, there is no way she can see this from across the room. Especially with an animated wallpaper behind it being a distraction. Nor will it display the day… which elderly/memory impaired folks need. Nor can I now show local weather or weather from a set location, so she can see weather at her home when she is visiting me. All in all, glad I only wasted $2 on this. Installed, ran, evaluated, deleted all in 10 minutes. Save your $$, download animated gifs or get nice wallpaper and buy yourself a coffee instead.

  Am loving these...

  Love the wallpapers. Especially the Nature category. Some do move too fast, however. I wish there was a way to slow them down. Hopefully updates will include a wider variety of choices and additional setting options. But for the cost, am very happy with my purchase and the app in general. Have already recommended it to my sister.

  Disappointment. Horrible. Just Bad.

  Most of these are just random videos filmed in low/standard resolution. Some of them loop after 5 seconds with obviously no attempt to hide the seams. Most of these are bad resolution… just bad. I can’t believe that this app is for sale in 2018. I have an ultrawide monitor… and because these are simply crappy videos filmed with a fixed aspect ratio, my ultrawide monitor cuts off a major portion of the video and there’s nothing I can do about it. I’m stuck with a zoomed-in, seemingly 480p video of crap that isn’t even that good in the first place. I want my money back.

  Extremely short loops.

  I was happy about the number of different wallpapers, and I like many of them. However, some wallpapers reset after about five seconds, and the biggest loops are not much longer, which I find very disappointing (there are similar free apps that resets less frequently). I would like to hide the program from my dock while it runs on my screen, but (again, unlike at least one similar and free app) that doesn’t seem to be possible.
