What is River Simulator 2012? The Ship-Simulator 2012 is a simulation game developed by weltenbauer and published by astragon. The game allows players to explore German rivers like the Rhine and Main with seven different inland waterway ships and other vehicles made for transport on water. The game features a huge map with realistically illustrated 3D-landscape, expanding from Frankfurt, Mayence up to the Dutch border. The game also includes modding-friendly structures that allow for creating and integrating individual ships into the game. The missions and assignments are based on the corresponding ship, and every successfully accomplished mission gets the player experience points, which can be invested in new, better ships. The game requires Mac OS X 10.5.8 or newer, Intel Core2 Duo mit 2,4 GHz - 2 GB RAM, ATI Radeon 2600 or higher with at least 256MB VRam or NVIDIA 8000 Serie or higher with at least 256MB VRam.
