1. If you have other computers in your house (or an iPhone or iPad when the new versions come to those devices), you can very easily setup a local network game of Hearts in your own home.
2. Upcoming releases of the the game for iPhones and iPads will enable network play with players on those devices also.
3. * Note: Network play is currently possible against other Windows players and also Windows players online or locally over a local network connection.
4. Hearts! by GrassGames is a beautiful 3D computer game version of the popular card game for 3 or 4 players.

Not good for Windows
This game is the only software on my PC that makes the cards ‘jump’ or ‘skip’ and when I am done and exit, my home screen is blank, forcing me to reboot. It didn’t used to be that way but I’m afraid an update messed up the software. I sent my complaint in to Aiden and have not heard back. If you have a Windows, I don’t recommend this one.
AI is pretty good
Hard to fool this program into throwing in higher card after it appears someone is shooting the moon. If you have a queen of hearts with the king and ace outstanding, and you try and sneek it in, it is almost guaranteed that king or ace will come out to stop you.
Too much deck stacking
I've enjoy this game and have played a long time. My biggest complaint is that often, very often, the deck gets stacked. I've played long enough to know all the deck stacking that the game does. My suggestion is to deal the cards randomly (duh) and also improve the play ability of the computer characters. On the plus side it a great time waster!
Great Hearts game!
I don’t play it online, but the single player mode is fun for me. The AI’s are challenging enough that I don’t always win. They seem to play well. I’ve not seen evidence of poor play by the computer that others elude to. The AI’s will take heart tricks to stop each other (and you) from shooting the moon. Just because I gave it 5 stars doesn’t mean it can’t get better. It can be hard to see the cards that players 2 and 4 collected because the results are obsucred by a semi-transparent window on which the cumulative results is displayed. When playing with the Jack of Diamonds the cumulative score doesn’t display negative numbers, which can make it hard to figure who took the Jack. I hope you keep tweaking this great app!
