Booxter Lite Overview
What is Booxter Lite? Booxter Lite is a free app for Mac that helps users track their collections of books, music, movies, and comics. It has three viewing modes, including list, filter, and tag, and allows users to scan barcodes using their iSight video camera, Bluetooth barcode scanner, or USB barcode scanner. The app can search many different online sources, and users can create dynamic, intelligent lists to keep track of their collections easily. Booxter Lite also allows users to import from comma or tab-delimited text files and export to a variety of formats, including CSV, XML, HTML, BibTeX, and more. The app is localized in English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, and Japanese.
1. There are 3 ways to scan barcodes and have items added to Booxter Lite.
2. Booxter Lite is a free app that helps you track your collections of books, music, movies and comics on your Windows.
3. Booxter Lite has all the features of the full version, except there is a limit of 30 items per library.
4. Check out the Tips and Tricks section from the Help menu to learn more about the many great things that Booxter Lite has to offer.
5. Lending: Keep track of items that you've lent out, integrated with your Address Book.
6. -Video: Use your iSight video camera (or other webcam or camcorder) to scan in barcodes visually.
7. (Barcode scanning can be done with books, music and movies; comic book barcode scanning is not currently supported).
8. Smart lists: Create dynamic, intelligent lists to help you keep track of things easily.
9. -Wireless: Use a Bluetooth barcode scanner to scan in barcodes wirelessly.
10. -Multiple items: Print out multiple items per page, like a spreadsheet.
11. Export to iPhone/iPod Touch: With the free companion app, conveniently carry your collections with you.
