What is Echofon? Echofon for Mac is a Twitter app that allows users to sync unread tweets with their iPhone. It has a minimal yet powerful interface that can be left open all day and expands to support advanced features when needed. The app uses indicators to show which tweets have photos, videos, location, conversations, etc. It also has a unique drawer interface for supplementary tasks such as viewing a user's profile, timeline, favorites, followers, and people search. Users can easily attach photos to their tweets with drag and drop and use all of their Twitter accounts in Echofon. The app also offers full search support, including trends with explanations, saved search, and people search.

    Good, but does not sync like it should

    Great twitter app, but it does not sync like it says it will! I mean I have deleted and reinstalled everything on Windows, iphone and ipad, contacted echofon they did what they had to do on their end and still not syncing! You figure for twenty bucks it would work with syncing, but it doesn't! Other than that it's a great app, I really don't believe it's worth $20 though! I mean come on Twitter is free and some are 99 cents! Since really all this does is get rid of ads, from the lite verison! If your looking to get this app along with ipad and iphone for syncing I wouldn't do it especially since this app is $20 and it doesn't work!

    The app is nice. However it is out of date. Please update the app for PC Big Sur

    Doesn’t work

    After adding one user, Echophon cannot obtain another twitter token to add user. No update in almost 2 years.

    Finally caved to buy this.

    I had the Sparkle updater version for the longest time and I kept promising "I'm going to buy this someday, I'm going to buy this" and I've finally kind of had it with accidentally clicking on the ads. You win, naan. I love you guys. Echofon is my most used app on both Windows and iOS. I love how far its gone and what it has become. Please keep it up. Someone mentioned in a previous version review that there isn't a "reply all" function. I checked my Sparkle version, MAS Lite, and this one. It's a contextual menu option. Right click and hit "reply all". Update! 1.4.9: I like what you did with the tab bar, but I don't understand the "international hash tags support". I thought it was finally being able to choose which region I can see trending topics in, like the iOS Echofon. Still, I love the new tab bar design.
