  Everyone I show this to gets blown away that it works so well, the companion app itself is also really solid, not sure if there was anything more I could ask for! Maybe some way to get sound on discord for Windows but I feel like that is more discord's responsibility.

  Awesome, but I wish there were a few additional options

  Until recently, I had a display that the button broke on. My HDMI inputs were unusable, so this was an awesome solution. However, I recently picked up an Ultrafine 5K, which has no additional inputs - another great use case for the Genki! However, I really wish there was an option to resize the main window to 100%, 125%, 150%, 175%, and 200%. In-between sizes make the picture blurrier without the best experience, so I often keep it at the default window size. I also wish there was an in-between option for picture settings - a "balanced" picture setting that sits somewhere between "best quality" and "best performance." For fast games on the Switch, best quality introduces a lot of lag, while best performance looks the worst. I'd be okay with a bit more lag if it meant better quality, but I don't really want to go so far as "best quality" either. Otherwise, it's a great app, especially when paired with the Nintendo Switch.

  Works great for playing PS5

  I have limited desk space so can't fit another dedicated monitor for my PS5. I use the Genki Shadowcast to hook up my PS5 to my Windows Studio's monitor, an LG 4K. Very easy to use the Genki Arcade app to play games. No noticeable lag at all on playing games like Call of Duty Modern Warfare and God of War. I highly recommend this product. I may not notice lag because my Windows Studio Max has a beefy 24 core graphics card while other users have complained about lag sometimes. I always play in higher resolution mode.

  App update didn't fix anything

  I was so excited when I saw that the app was updated last week because it hasn't been working for months. I had put in several support tickets but got no response, but I had heard from others online that the devs promised a fix to the Windows app coming soon. Sadly to my disappointment it appears that whatever fixes were implimented they didn't fix my issue at all and my app is still simply non-functional. Can't even detect my shadowcast at all. I'm so sad because I loved my shadowcast when I bought it but with months of the app not working and being unable to find a solution I'm really regretting my purchase.

  This is MAGIC!

  This little Shadowcast is just MAGIC! All lof the devices and things I've had to hook up to do screen recording.....and this little device the size of a thumbdrive brings my Cameras, Playstations, Switch and anything with an HDMI to my M1 Pc with a super simple interface and awesome performance feels like magic! I'm never going back to anything other than this for my recording/streaming needs! BRAVO!
