Software Reviews and Criticism

    Really cool, but..

I just downloaded it and the available selection of wallpapers are great, but I wish there was a search bar that I could use to look for specific wallpapers, like backgrounds for the different seasons. Also, the live wallpapers do not have that much of a smooth transition when they loop. I tried out a live wallpapers and it pauses briefly to restart the loop. I know it's just me being picky, but I do like the smooth transitions, otherwise it bothers me and I won't use it. Something else I am not a fan of is that I do have to give a rating and review to unlock some of the wallpapers. It is better than having to pay, but it'd be nice if the wallpapers could just be accessed without having to write anything. Other than the things I said just previously, the wallpapers are wonderful and are of great quality. I will keep using them and I do recommend since a lot of pictures you find online can be blurry or won't fit your screen right. The 4 star rating is because of the things I listed. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars since the wallpapers are really nice.

I use this, but there is much to be improved

I bought this because I wanted a nice moving background of nature scenes. It would be nice to be able to search live wallpapers based on theme. I don't understand why there are so many creepy live action options of asian girls doing random things. (cheerleading? playing piano? Crying?) There are also a lot of busty anime ladies. If this is your thing then that's fine but It's annoying having to sift through everything in the live catagory. The other issue is that I want to be able to set my screensaver. I was able to do it once but now I can't change it to a different "paper" option. The third issue is WHY ARE THERE SO MANY WITH SOUNDTRACKS this is pointless. There are options to mute them but this is fiddly when you're dealing with using these as a screensaver. Last, most of the options that I actually want to use don't have a "perfect loop" or even a loop that's long enough to not notice. Every five seconds gets tedious and I end up having to change it. I pretty much paid for this app so that I can use 2/3 different live wallpapers. They have a fair amount of 4k options but let's be honest, that's definitely not why I got the app in the first place. It's a nice option to have but If I had gone through all of their options first I probably wouldn't have bought the app.

Great with some room for improvement

Love the wallpaper selection, a lot of them are very beautiful and there are different styles so I'm sure there must be something that would appeal to anyone. I do find myself wishing that there was a way to adjust the playback speed of the animation - some of the wallpaper seems to move very fast for what I would prefer and would love an option to be able to manually slow it down. Also would love an option to download multiple wallpapers at once - especially for those who upgraded. Overall, I would definitely recommend this app to those looking for high quality live wall papers.

    Getting the hang of it

So far so good. You get a nice interesting desktop from this app. However, I am not sure if its over-eating into RAM or not. The only criticism I have is the looping is annoying on some, such as the clouds but unnoticable on ones like the fantasy waterfall image. I would assume that after upgrading that probably goes away. The only problem (and it might not be the app)... It might just be a coincidence, but after installing it I had issues with a zoom meeting an hour later, which is not normal with my connection speed. I have a 1GB/sec bandwidth. To play safe, I quit the application and had less issues with the meeting. I don't want to blame the app, because I haven't looked into how much memory it uses. Unless I am running a driver to allow my Windows to read/write NTFS [which is rare]; OR I am serving media to devices in the home; 8G of RAM is more than enough to keep me from freezing. Its definitely worth giving a try, the developers seem very approachable and professional.

Worth it! But needs some adjustments!

I bought the premium version on a whim, and its pretty much worth it! there are TONS of great and fashonable wallpapers to chose from! the only issues I have is that some wallpapers arent exactly 4k like it says in the description, although, I didnt really expect it to be, as i have a 27 inch Windows so most things that claim to be 4K are kinda blurry. Also, ive noticed that some walpapers dont replay as smoothly as you'd think they would. it doesnt cause lag or jitterness while playing demanding games like WolfQuest. i do have a suggestion though, maybe add a search bar to find certain walpapers easier? and maybe have the wallpapers play while in the searching thing so people dont have to download them only to figure out they dont like how the wallpaper moves. that's all. thanks!
