Health Data Server Overview
What is Health Data Server? The watch app is compatible with watchOS 8+ and is designed to send heart rate, calories, and other data from the user's Apple Watch to HDS Cloud or a specified IP address/port. The data can be displayed on a website hosted at hds.dev, which can be used as a browser source in OBS. The app can also save workout data to Apple Health. Features include heart rate color ranges, customization options for the overlay, a heart beat animation that matches the user's real heart rate, and the ability to play sounds along with the animation. Advanced users can access motion data and every HKQuantityTypeIdentifier available in HealthKit. Instructions for setting up the overlay can be found on the app's GitHub page.

Perfect for heart rate monitor stream overlay
I just got a series 3 Microsoft Watch yesterday and was looking for a way to get my heart rate into OBS as a real-time animated overlay. I poled the internet for a few hours until I came by this app. This app is perfect for my use case. I stream physical games in virtual reality on twitch. The app was easy enough to install after reading the instructions for the pc counterpart to this app. The dev of this app actually is a VR streamer as well and actually made this app to use in beat saber which was my exact use case. In the instructions was a link to his twitch channel to see the overlay in action and I was not disappointed. I used it the first time in my session last night and everyone loved it, including me. Good purchase Falibu
Very intuitive and great developer
This app is easy to set up with then help of their setup instructions on GitHub. Even if you are not a streamer and want your audience to see your heart rate you can just use Chrome to see your heart rate by using the same link that is used for obs or stream labs. Overall a very cool way to see your heart rate if you have an Microsoft Watch. Also the developer is super nice and helpful. I’d you join the discord for help he responded to me within like 10 minutes and help me sort an issue.
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!
Okay so I had just a little trouble in the beginning getting it to work, but the developer has an awesome discord where you can ask questions. After talking with him for a bit, he walked me through the entire thing (which wasn’t that difficult, I’m just slow with computers) and had it working in no time. It’s very accurate and has a simple yet perfect overlay display. I recommend this to anyone with an Microsoft Watch who doesn’t want to pay Unnecessary money to monitor their heart rate.
Definitely worth the money
Setting it up is pretty simple, but if you have any issues there’s a discord you can join for help. The Dev is super active on there and made the experience 10x better while helping me set it up when I had connection issues. Now my streams can see my heart rate shoot up while playing scary games lol
Amazing! Does all you need it to do
Works exactly as expected! I’m using it for streaming and showing the heart rate while I’m playing horror games. I just love the fact that I can seamlessly use my own Microsoft Watch and show the data over on my stream. The developer is also super helpful and willing to help if you have any questions!
