Works very well
I'm using it since about a month for bulk translation of texts, which then I review manually. It's very quick and works very well. As all automatic translators, it doesn't understand exactly the meaning of certain idiomatic expressions that only a human can discover, as expected. I've found a small problem: I usually translate from Spanish to English by copying and pasting onto the floating translator window using Cmd-C &Cmd-V. Sometimes, Cmd-V doesn't work on the source language upper pane (the cursor stays on the lower pane for some reason) and I must right click and use the paste option to actually paste the text to be translated. I guess this is a program bug probably easy to fix by the developers. Besides that, no problems so far. Thanks!
Bait and switch - updated
I bought the extension and after a few weeks was told I needed to buy a subscription to continue using this, which was not disclosed. In the last few days there has been a prompt to restart Safari to update In Translator, which has restored the original functionality of the extension. I still cannot recommend this since I do not know whether future updates will again create this issue again. It is also not clear whether the extension will remain independent from the app that the updated prompted me to install.
In Translator 2.3
In translator 2.3 is an incredible resource for anyone who is trying to learn everything associated with a different language. This app includes the grammar conjugations for each sentence structure and a easy-to-use pop-out window for when the translation needs to be typed.
Double charge
When I downloaded this software, I had already paid $1.99, but after I had used it for a few days, a window came out and let me choose whether to rent it for $0.99 per month or $9.99 per year. It makes me angry because I've paid for the software, but now I'm being asked to pay again!!! And also, when I tried to restore my purchase, the software didn't respond at all.
Doesn't work on Safari
I downloaded this to use to translate safari so i didn't have to go to google but unfortunately it doesn't work. It seems to be an Microsoft issue because i tried a few other solutions and all are the same - it forces a page reload which leads to a bunch of issues on most sites. Sadly only chrome has proper in page translation.
