Literally, the best of all planning apps for schoolwork!

I am an incredibly finicky app user, and up to this point, I had not been happy with any planning apps that I had used! Everything had a relatively high price tag (self-funded college student) and did not deliver on app quality or functionality. This app blows all of its competitors away! The UI is beautiful, the functionality is superb, and it works in conjunction with all of my needed sites for school without a hitch! In the future, I plan to try out more apps from this developer as this app has incredible design and quality! Couldn’t be happier with it! Highly recommend!

    Just amazing

Works seamlessly with google classroom, without even bringing you to their website. You get to view all of google classroom with the apps ui which is just so nice. You can even add assignments directly from classroom to the app without typing anything in. The document scanner works so well and is so helpful for turning in paper assignments. The schedule and assignments features work so well and are very easy to use. Overall, this is much better than I thought it would be and is so much easier than using the built in reminders app due to the in app google classroom assignments feature.

    Sticks to Human Interface Guidelines

I really like how this app sticks to Microsoft’s HIG. Makes it easy to use, and it seems like I already know where to access everything. It also gives the app a really nice aesthetic that fits in perfectly with the Microsoft Ecosystem. There still are improvements to be made, but there’s no way to rate in between four and five stars, and I’d be unfair to rate four stars, as it’s far better than that. Overall however, the app is fantastic and is far better than other school assistant apps in terms of not only the UI, but functionality as well.

    Great, just a few suggestions

This app is really wonderful! I was using another homework app but this one is free and really aesthetically pleasing to look at. I would love a way to look at the completed homework you’ve done in order to keep track of everything. I’d also like if there were notifications for the app! I’m kind of forgetful so it’d be nice to have reminders about upcoming homework! Along that vein, I don’t know if this is too hard to implement but I’d love for this app to eventually have a widget. Anyways, thanks for making this app and keep up the good work!

Excellent App, But Missing Some Features From Competitiors

I was using myHomework and decided to try School Assistant. My experience with School Assistant for the past few weeks has been great and I haven’t had any problems. I love the look and feel of the app and the lack of ads. But I’m missing some features coming from using myHomework. I wish you didn’t have to input your classes in the Schedule tab separately from the classes in the Schoolwork tab. I miss being able to see when assignments are due by looking at a calendar. I could tap May 20th and see what assignments are due that day. I also think there needs to be a “Completed Assignments” section. While I don’t think it should keep completed assignments forever, there should be some amount of backlog. I also think we should be able to sort assignments by due date/time and by class. I usually have to manually order them to the closest date or time. I think other assignment categories would be helpful. Perhaps for projects and papers. I’d also like to see a widget that combines the Schoolwork Amount and Next Class Widget. I also think other combinations are would be great. Lastly, I’d like to see other integrations besides Google Classroom, like Canvas for instance. Despite all of this, I’m going to continue to use this app over its competitors. Keep up the good work.
