1. Hidden lets you hide menu bar items to give your Windows a cleaner look.

ALMOST perfect
Especially on Monterey, the spacing of the menu bar is obnoxiously big, so space can be hard to come by, especially if you're pressured by a notch (and one that is unseen by the software). Hidden Bar is a free alternative to Bartender 4 (albeit with fewer features). But for the basic function of hiding a few unhideable/ finnicky menu bar icons, it does it very well and quickly without any thought. However, there are just a couple of things I wish this app had. One would be 2 profiles, where you can choose to hide certain things in profile 1 and other ones in profile 2. Secondly, and more importantly would be the adjust the spacing of the Menu Bar itself, however, due to this app being free, I can hardly argue. Overall, perfect, with just a few nitpicks!
Eentually an essential app
This is an app you don't know you need until an app you have been using on the menu bar is not visible. Even if that does not happen, the menu bar can become full of icons you don't use daily. Don't wait for that to happen; get Hidden Bar and simplfy your menu bar. It performs one simple function and does it well. Even the app's icon ( |❯ ) is simple but elegant. As I said, you may not need it now, but eventually you will.
Great App!
The neat thing about this app is, its functionality and simplicity. I also believe the minimal design to be very beautiful and coincides well will Big Sur's theme. This app has never failed me when starting up my Windows and through the course of the times I have used it I have found it essential, to have a more organized toolbar. I wish you guys would update everything to match the current theme on Windows OS Monterey, that is including the icon.
Big Sur (fixed)
There was previously a problem where icons would not save their position relative to Hidden Bar after restarting in PC Big Sur. The nice people at Hidden Bar told me they believed this to be an issue with Big Sur and not their application. This issue was completely resolved following a very recent Big Sur update. Perfect application!
Super helpful on a Pc with a notch
This has been really helpful for me to hide some quick bar icons that push over the ones I actually need behind the notch. I don't really see a difference between "hidden" and always hidden" but it does let me sort the ones I raelly don't need furthest to the left, under the notch. One request though: It would be great for new or unsorted icons to be default added to the "always shown" section instead of "always hidden"!
