  Issues opening wpd on a new Windows computer

  I was having issues opening 3 documents that were sent to me in the wpd format. After struggling trying to convert the file myself, I downloaded the first free wpd converter app I found, which happened to be this one. There isn't much to the app itself, but it did it's job! All you need to do is drag the file over the app icon and boom it opens your file seemlessly. So simple and effective! Thank you developers for making my life easier!

  Stuff from long ago!

  Just found a memory stick I stuck into a box of junk from when I retired 5 years ago. It contained a lot of stuff I'd written and copied and used over the years. But nothing would open! They were all listed as WPD! So glad I found this app. Many pleasant surprises, many things I can share with friends still in the classroom. Thank you!

  Works well on Windows with one workaround

  I had some old Word Perfect files not examined in years. I converted from Windows to Windows a year ago, and at some point the file type wpd was eliminated. All I had to do was to add the .wpd file type (or is it an extension?), double click, and the wpd converter opened the file. I chose to convert to pdf, copy into a Word doc. Have done no editing yet, and it looks like no real Word formatting, just like a print image, but at least we have something we can use.

  There is an annoying pop-up but it works

  There is a pop-up telling you to rate the app that won't go away even if you do rate the app. It's extremely annoying. Because that app comes up, it won't allow me to quit the program unless I "force quit" on my Windows. Besides this the app works great and I had no issues changing the document and printing. I hope that they can just fix the pop-up rate the app issue.

  It Works...

  This app opens a file with a WPD file extension and without any loss of formatting. It was quick to install and was a choice when right-clicking file and choosing "Open With". It cannot be higher praise in today's world than to be able to report "It Works!". Can't beat FREE either!
