  Useful but Poorly Designed

  I really want to like this app because it's been very helpful in keeping me hydrated throughout the day. I tend to get caught up in other things and forget to drink water. Unfortunately all of this is undermined by a design that's mediocre at best. It ignores many PC design idioms and, as a result, is quite frustrating to use. Just a few examples off the top of my head: 1. The main screen has a hamburger button that *adds an entry*. First of all, since when did the hamburger icon mean adding an entry? Second, the history screen does have a plus button for the same purpose! 2. The add entry screen looks really bad. The animation is too slow, and I have to wait a long time before I can enter the amount. The buttons are nonstandard as well. Cmd Enter does not work. 3. I'm not sure using a red down arrow on the main screen is the best choice. Just say "x oz until you reach your goal." The red down arrow seems to say I've had less water compared to yesterday, but this is not the case. 4. Why does the scrollbar behave so differently on the Reminders preference panel? 5. No way to use this without the app forever stuck in the menubar. I have a 13-inch computer and that space is at a premium, and I don't need the app to be running at all time.

  Great App!

  I purchased the app on my phone at first then later on my Windows and I love the different looks. Along with the complication on my watch. The only thing is on my phone it was $4.99 and on my laptop it was $2.99, so I had to buy it twice. And the cute/cooler avatars are locked and ask you to put in more money for their "tip jar", but I have given them $8 for this app. Those extras should be free. Or have me drink enough water/water challenges to open up more avatars to make unlocking them fun and challenging, along with healthier by drinking more water. Other than those few things, it's a great app, and I find myself wanting to input how much water I've drank and seeing my progress.

  Keeps me on track and aware of my hydration health!

  I have been using the mobile version of this application for a while now. When I got the Microsoft Watch I was pleased with the ease of use. I got to thinking, "I sit at my computer at work for a good portion of the day so I wonder if I can put it there too..." YESSSS. Syncing takes a little while sometimes, but at the end of the day the analytics are accurate. Love it.

  Nice Addition To The iPad/iPhone App.

  I do appreciate this app. Many times, I prefer to use my Windows simply due to its much larger display. This is one of those times. This app runs seamlessly. My only concern was that the installation routine did not mention the fact this application runs soely from the Windows Menu Bar. I thought there was sometning wrong with the app as it did not appear to come up when I executed it subsequent to installation. It was already running in the menu bar. I was expecting it to open a window on the desktop instead. Otherwise, this is a great app.
