    it's great!

Below you can see what I wrote previously, and the dev's response. I'm happy to report now that the issue has been resolved, and quite promptly, too. This app is beautiful and extremely useful, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to time the duration of several events. Thank you, dev, and more power to you! This app simply doesn't work. It appears to be working if it is in the front on screen, but as soon as it is in the background it fails. I set a timer and the darkened my screen and walked away. When I came back 13 minutes later, the app showed 1 min and 30 sec. It resumed working as soon as I brought it up to the front, but there was no record of the time while the screen was dark. This is not acceptable and I had to delete it. I wanted to keep it, because so many of the features are beautiful, but it is an epic FAIL. Ciao 11_15_17, thanks dev for your response. I have installed it again and will give another try. I like the app very much so I hope it works this time.

Not very intuitive; standard functions are overly complex

I’m trying a bunch of timer apps trying to find one that can float one or more small countdown timers (with labels) on the screen, and keep those same timer for easy re-use. This one didn’t do it for me. The window can be floated, but it’s the full window, meaning it will be more in the way. The UI is on the clumsy side — setting HH:MM:SS is done through 3 separate pulldown menus (why not just type in the time?); there seems to be some kind of non-clickable ad across the bottom of the window (it’s in Chinese, so I’m unsure what it really is); re-using a timer isn’t intuitive (requires right-click > menu); the unclear set of buttons across the bottom of the screen have no mouse-over tool-tips; opening and closing Preferences can’t be done with key commands. And when the app is open, it takes up room in both the Menu Bar and the Dock, with no way to hide either. Could be the right tool for some, as evidenced by other reviews here, but it’s not for me.

    Bug on latest update?

I've been using your timer every day at work. It is so helpful to be able to have multiple running at different times throughout the day!! I'm having an issue with the latest release though. I can no longer reset my predetermined timers to zero without removing the timers entirely. I now have to recreate each timer again in order to start the timer over. Is this a bug, or just how it is supposed to work now? I like to enter my time into my timesheet at work when I leave for lunch, and then at the end of the day. Because of this, I refresh my timers mid day. Thanks for your help!

    So close...

It's great that there are multiple countdown timers and this almost met my needs. However, when a countdown timer is done, you can't start it again quickly and easily by just clicking on it, which would be perfect for my needs. Instead the countdown timer is grayed out when it's done and you need to create a new countdown timer with that time. For example, in my job task A should be completed in 1 minute and task B should be completed in 4 minutes to meet the hourly goals so I need to quickly reuse countdown timers of the same interval depending on what kind of task comes up. Also, you can only create the count-up timers in intervals of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes, and 120 mintues, so be aware of that.
