    Happy with Redesign! Some flaws...

I am very happy with this redesign (and am updating my review from 1 star to 4 stars). However, there are a couple of flaws that lower the score from a 5 to a 4. 1. Not very compact. My main problem is with the sidebar. It takes way too much space and there is no way to hide the sidebar (which I would prefer) or even resize it. ALSO: there are lots of complaints about the UI being less compact, so I suggest creating a "compact" mode that makes the UI more compact and information-heavy. I think that would be helpful to everyone. 2. Some weird bugs. When I use the command to show the window, it usually works fine and shows up in my full screen window. However, if I press the hide window command that is set (same as show window command), and then move to a different fullscreen window, it ends up moving me to the wrong window. This problem can be solved by just pressing cmd w though. Just a minor annoyance. ALL IN ALL: Really the only thing keeping me from the 5 star rating is that huge sidebar. It's way bigger than it needs to be.

Historically Good App BUT Issues with New Versions - POOR support

Have owned this app for a long time. Has a lot of versatility (both timers and reminders), and just worked. However, with some recent updates, I have encountered issues. The first issue is Lack of Support. No one is or has timely responded to my problems. Here are the current issues with Due. Snycing, I run Due on both my Windows and Iphone, Worked great until a recent update. Now my phone and my Windows are out of sync so I am constantly getting pinged by both my Windows and my phone for the same reminders. Second issue: the IOS version of the app keeps pinging me on my Microsoft Watch. Historically, I have turned Due Reminders off on my phone. I have tripled checked. DUE notifications are not turned on for my Iphone nor are the “mirrored” from my Iphone. But somehow they keep showing up on my watch. Not sure how this is even possible. The Most frustrating part is no one is getting back with me.

Does not work well with mobile application

I had the Due app for iOS for quite a while and I loved it. However, I wanted to get it for the computer since I am usually at my computer when the reminders go off. The description says that the desktop app syncs with the iOS app, but only when I first log in. If I am logged in and I add a due on the computer, it never shows up on my phone (and vice versa) unless I do a manual sync. I have tried to go through the troubleshooting, but nothing seems to change. I admit I have not used dropbox for syncing, but I don't want to install that on my computer and installing it on the computer is the only way to make it work. I reached out to the support team and it has been a week and I still haven't heard back. I also requested a refund because of the complete inaccuracy of their claims. Paying twice as much for two apps that don't communicate is a waste. Keep the iOS, but stay away from the PC version.

The App I Have Always Needed

Due has become one of my must have apps for my iPhone as well as my desktop. What I most appreciate about this app are its’ many features. You can select alarm sounds, repeat items, sync with the Desktop app and for those who like me are very busy you can snooze alarms using presets. As someone who is not only very busy with many tasks but ADD this app is a real asset to my productivity. Before getting this app I would set reminder alarms and when I was very busy turn off the alarm trusting myself to remember to complete the alarmed task when I finished my current work. More often than not I would forget to do the task that I had set an alarm for. Due’s easy “Snooze” feature solved that problem.

Best replacement for system reminders app

The system reminders app has gotten super buggy in recent years, to the point where I found it basically unusable. I've been looking for a good replacement for it, and after trying many different apps, settled on Due. Some of the key features for me are Siri support so I can make a reminder when I'm driving, good natural language processing so I can create a reminder without having to manually put in a time/date, and clients for both Windows and iOS. The UI for snoozing a reminder is also excellent, with presets you can set for certain times of day, and buttons to quickly offset from those times. It's still being developed, which is great. I have two top requests: 1. Have the natural language processing be able to handle creating repeating reminders. 2. Have the natural language processing be able to handle creating a reminder shortly before an event. For example "remind me that I have a doctor appointment at 10am, at 7am on Friday".
