Incredibly unreliable, and you want to get paid for that?

I do not have poor connection, in fact, it's not about connectivity. But, among other factors, it's the fact that you will not know, because the developers won't warn you, that updates will break your setup. You update Director, you won't be able to see your cameras (iPods in my case) anymore and, again, you won't know until you are trying to film and nothing works and you give up and have to do it all manually. And you have to pay for that!? The extension for Premier Pro on PC? Useless. Request support? Still waiting after 72 hours. You should call this still a Beta and NOT charge until everything's ready. Do not release extensions if you can't back it up with prompt support. Obviously I'm a frustrated user, but the issues are real and they are severe and we should be able to request our money back.

Excellent features at a reasonable price

I’ve enjoyed this app and all the features. The camera controls for focus and white balance are a game changer for me. I wish there could be some different transitions for images. Cutting from shot to shot isn’t a big deal for me, but cutting to images makes the production feel choppy. I still rate this 5 stars. I intend on getting some of the wired hardware available on the website. I should say I’ve had no problems with a iPhone 6s, X and a current gen iPad for camera. I control everything from a iPad Pro.

      Perfect for my livestream tutorials

I have very little video production training and all my learning has been on my own trying and testing devices, software and gear. I started working with Cinamaker in early 2018 and it’s my main go to app for live-streaming and recording my online tutorials, art demos, conference talks and artist interviews. I have figured out my process to go live with several iPhone 6 and an iPad Pro. I really like the ability to pack all my gear in my backpack and go. I have two Cinamakin set ups: WiFi only - if WiFi is available and not many people around, smartphones and people will disturb the signals between my devices. Afully wired set up so I can add external devices to capture audio and share my screen to Cinamaker while I draw with the Surface Pro and a second iPad Pro. So far I have enjoyed my video producing journey and look forward to the many goodies coming to Cinamaker since update 2.0. Great job!

One of the Best apps for live streaming

This app is easy to use , with many things to discover, my gosh thumps up for the developers, it’s very affordable or even free with 2 cameras , to go live streaming cinamaker is the way to go, use graphics, gifs, text, and many other things in your life stream. Thanks again for making this easy and simple.

      Potential and Frustrations...

Lots of potential... The app is not fully mature, but I expect future upgrades to address some of the issues. For me, there are three major weaknesses: 1.) most folks won't have a WIFI signal strong enough to keep from getting a warning about synched audio and dropped video feeds. Even wired, issues pop up. My audio is often out of sych. Videos (Cinamaker calls these movies) often drop out complete during stream. You can go back and fix the issues later (that's much appreciated), but the LIVE feature is not ready for prime time. 2.) the media manager is a long way from being professional. Because you can only see one element of a grouped graphic at a time, It takes a long time (lots of trial and error) to create a lower third with more than one text/image. And once you have it created, there no way to duplicate a group or image. You must start from Step One each time. Very frustrating. There's no way to change the appearance of an element. You can't make its entry narrower. Images can't be named. (The workaround is to place each element in a group and name the group...) It would be nice to place videos in a group and trigger the group so that after the first video played the second, third, fourth played automatically. 3.) You can't load different images for different shows. For example, if you do a children's church broadcast and then a Sunday worship service for adults, you can't load the shows individually into the program. You'd have to leave all the images in and manually pull one program's content to the bottom of the manager. If you have a lot of graphics and several shows, it gets unwieldly very quickly. The program needs to be able to save each show with a unique name and when it's loaded, it brings up the correct content. (The program allows you to save/load sessions, but that's not the same thing.) Cinamaker's support is good. They will chat with you in a timely fashion. They seem like good folks, who want to have a good product. I feel certain they will get there, but for now, while it kinda works, prepare for a lot of frustration.
