The app also includes hand and scissors tools to move and delete drawings selectively, and a whiteboard feature that allows users to draw over opaque overlays. Fantastic app

I have a presentation to do soon that would greatly benefit from on-screen annotations. This is fantastic. Downloaded and played with it during a long boring meeting and am now fluent. You do need to mostly memorize the keys you want to use for a fluid presentation, but if you're sharing just a window, the toolbar is easily out of view if you need help. Very well done. Re-applying previously saved screens easily is an unexpectedly nice feature. If I had one request it would be that the whiteboard have a 'float' option that defaults to the middle of the screen but has a resize handle and lets me move it. Why? Because when sharing a window, that window isn't necessarily slammed up against the side of the monitor so it's a bit awkward. Allowing the background of it to be a little transparent (same O hotkey?) would make it nicer.

    Exactly What I Needed

I run web meetings and just need a simple and unabtrusive way to highlight and draw things during the meeting. I've tried several others but this is by far the best. I can easily invoke and dismiss it with a simple keyboard shortcut and no distracting toolbar appears. I can then draw with click and hold and when I finish explaining I let go and it gently fades out. I can continue focusing on what I'm saying without getting flustered trying to remember how to clear the screen. The detailed control of keyboard shortcuts is a game changer for me. Even things like toggling between my two most-used tools is just hitting tab. I can do everything I need and only have to remember two keyboard shortcuts.

Pretty easy to use and to the point

I was able to use this for commentary stuff and for tutorials over Skype screen sharing. Works pretty well. Although, I would still hope the mouse pointer capture rate could be higher because my mouse pointer track speed is set to be pretty high as I have a big screen, and the mouse pointer isn't being captured fast enough, so, unless you move your mouse less fast, the drawing loses some detail, e.g. some curved pointer tracks may end up being straight lines. The one star was taken off for this issue and hope it can be improved. ;)

    Great app, one caveat

This is so simple and just what I was looking for. One thing I really wish is that you could go back and forth between annotating and 'ghost mode' (mouse) without using the keyboard. It would make the app seamless with a stylus, for instance! Currently, it requires a keystroke (or, on a new Windows with the touchbar, two keystrokes), which makes using a stylus kinda pointless.

    This is all I need

I was looking for similar interface like famous Skitch from Evernote, and this deliver simple but sufficient tools that I can draw to teach other people. Quality of tools are professionally done and polished interface and shortcut. There is no learning curve. I also tried their iOS app. It works as pointer when I present something, probably not useful for remote work screensharing. I wish they can give me scribbling pad feature from the iOS app (using app as touch pad).
