What is FolderMarker? FolderMarker is an app that allows users to easily mark and customize folders on their Mac. Users can drag and drop folders into the app to mark them with custom icons, including text, images, icons, emoji, and generic symbols. The app also allows users to add their own images and apply various compositing modes. Users can change the color of the icons using a color wheel, hue slider, and color shuffle. The app supports up to 40 editable icon presets and allows users to export and import folder styles and sets. Other features include support for the Touch Bar, iCloud, and folder labels, as well as a FolderMarker Bar for fast colorizing. The app also includes an editor with various modes and effects, such as shadow, fill, opacity, inner and outer stroke. The Smart Restore option allows users to keep the existing icon of a folder while changing it to a custom one and then restore it with a saved version of the icon using a "Restore" preset.
