  Just right for Dynamic Desktop

  I got to know 24 Hour Wallpaper through their free give-away NYC Dynamic Wallpaper. It worked perfectly and I really liked it. Next I read their app can use the PC Dynamic Desktop engine, which took my interest as I prefer to refrain from installing perstistent third party tools running in the background. I ended up buying their app because I feel the developer did the right thing when Microsoft released Dynamic Desktop: they sought publicity by giving away free pictures (something Microsoft didn't do) and they changed their app so people could use the Microsoft engine as well as theirs. Fantastic! Hope to see plenty new pictures in the future!

  Software is great. Pictures are... meh.

  The title says most of what I want to say, but to elaborate - yes, I think the software is well-implemented, and it's nice to have the option to use the system's dynamic desktop engine (I fail to see how this uses more system resources than the app though). But the quality of the photos, in terms of what they chose to photograph, how they framed it, and the quality of the equipment they used, results some hit and a lot of miss to me. Put another way, the pictures don't "pop" from the screen like most of the static wallpapers I usually end up using. I have a 5K display, and in most pictures there is very noticeable edge softness (though the center is sharp - i.e. spherical aberration). More than most pictures. This probably wouldn't be as noticeable on a non-retina screen. Anyway, I couldn't find any pictures that worked for me, so I don't use the app. My rating would go up if they had more quality material.

  One of my another favorite Wallpaper App

  I have been using Magic window 4k App as well, and decide to purchase another app from " Jetson Creative LLC , Which is this another app called " 24 Hour wallpaper app " Both app show wonderful and beautiful wallpaper with timelapese feature ! and with this 24 hour wallpaper app since it also sync with timeline based on my location , I can see the wallpaper change time by time , so it is enjoyful ! Wating for more better sceneary wallpapers to come ~ , and App really worth the money !

  Not Worth It

  The software works and runs pretty well, but their library of images are dreadful. I couldn't find a single 24hr wallpaper that I liked more than Windows OS's current defaults. That's a huge let down for $10. This app needs to update its library of images. They also jam pack the library full with wallpapers that are just assortments of images and not the same image over the course of 24 hours. That felt like a huge dissapointment as well given it's not advertised like that. Also why pay $10 for that? You can get better images from unsplash and use Windows os to cycle through them. You're making me pay for something I can already do. Offer better wallpapers that change with the time of day!!

  Fun - could be improved

  The dynamic wallpaper feature of Catalina gives me a lot of pleasure and these folks have done a good job of putting out some interesting projects and good photography. The night shots are strangely overexposed (the Tioga Road night pic looks like Hollywood night). I certainly am looking forward to their produciing more wallpapers - in this COVID time it is really nice to be at my computer, ready to work and be greeted by a crisp morning scene on my computer. I'd recommend this app to anyone who values computer atmospherics. I do hope they add a few more iconic natural places - would love to see, for example, Maroon Bells, Grand Canyon, Cades Cove, Olympic National Park or Smokey Mountain National Park put into the app.
