Does the job, but could be a bit more easier to use.

As a very simple note taking app. you can just refer to on your desktop, it does great. But there are two things I wish it did. 1. There is an odd process to get your note to appear on your desktop. You have to go into the “preferences” menue and select “stickies” to get the note you were last using to appear. This is NOT intuitive. 2. It would be nice if it would synch with your smart phone. Seems to only work with the laptop.

    Misses Much

I bought this app for the syncing functionality. Other than that, I would have expected it to function much as Windows's built-in Stickies does. It doesn't. Much of the built-in app's functionality is missing. On top of that, many basic keyboard commands (e.g., hitting return to go to next line) either don't work at all or inconsistently. And there is no warning that you are deleting the sticky note when you click in the upper left corner--which I discovered only after losing a couple notes. In sum, don't assume that it works like Windows Stickies, because it is far from a finished product. Not worth the money.

    Handy little app

I've just been using this sticky app recently (10/28/22). Keep track of my weekly goals and my daily to-do list or just reminders. It is handy to have it on my desktop when I start my computer, to remind me of what I need to do/track for the day.

    Creepy Notifications

I just got a notifications from Sticky saying "think your Windows is safe? Think again!" and that was it. Seeing that this isnt a anti-virus software or anything, im confused and pretty creeped out by this.

Not what it claims to be.

I'm not sure how it claims to be ranked #1 in 45 countries, when in my opinion, it barely meets the criteria of what a "sticky note" app should do, and it doesn't meet all of what the app designers claim their own app can do. 1) All sticky notes should be able to stay stuck to the desk top below other apps, this app keeps them above all other apps. 2) All sticky notes that are on the Microsoft system should be utilizing the font system that Microsoft seems to be so proud of, and constantly utilzises (why force the users to use your system?). 3) When you delete a sticky note it should stay deleted, especially after you restart your computer, for some reason this isn't the case with this software. What this software can't do that the designers claim it should do are as follows... 1) There is supposed to be a difference betwen "Note", "Sicky", and "Floating" windows, but honestly I can't figure out what it is. As that's the case, apparenly the difference between those 3 windows has been deleted by the devlopers at some point in the past, and they've failed to update the description in the App Store. 2) The transparency for the notes simply doesn't exhist. I've searched and it's not there. 3) Once the note has been sized and started to be typed the first time, that's it your note size is set. The devs claim you can re-size your notees independently, but that option must have been deleted in an earlier option for some reason. 4) The Devs also claim this can do Speech recognition and you'll need to trust me on this one, as someone that works with speech recognition on a regular basis, this app does not do anything more than the typical app that can speak when asked to by clicking the edit-->speach menu items. There are no actual speach recognition items that I found that can listen to/for commands or accept commands once they are given. Would be super cool if that software did exhist within this little app. Why did I get this app? Well first of all I did expect it to do all of the above as advertised. But aside from that, I needed something that would persistantly stay on my screen until I got the tasks I needed completed - done, and this definetly fulfilled that requirement. Barely. Unfortunately there are many other apps that do that job in a more graceful manner. If you are looking for potentially good sticky app programs I'd suggest trying antnotes, or nice sticky, in addition to apples stickies. They all meet the requirements that I feel should be associstated with a sticky note porgram. Hopefully the Devs of this app will read this and make the necessary adjustments to justify the pricetag of $9.00
