faulty
its not only with the app but with the program itself! if something happens with the upload before its fully sent then it will freeze and wont let you resume and if you stop it and try to resend your files you will lose you one of your two 24hours tramfers. sometimes it will be interupted twice and then you lose both of your file tranfers then you have to wait 24 hours to try again but when it does work its aweome they should only count your transfers if it goes all the way through.
Excellent - So Much Faster - Ignore Haters
I just recenlty found this app while trying to download some music software/audio files. The company provided a direct link to download the regular way, this was putting my 2 GB download at estimated 30 mins (way too long for a file that size). They also gave file mail as an option, figured I'd give it a go. After install, the same file downloaded through FileMail in under 2 mins. I didn't even stop the original download - which was only at 15% by the time this finished (With a big headstart). Excellent service, works great and couldn't be simpler for large file downloads. Big fan.
Great for large transfers
I had to send a 20gig file, and it may have taken a long time to upload (somewhere in the range of 10-12 hours), but there were no issues with the upload, and I received a notification once it completed. Great option for large transfers!
Weird App
A relative wants to send a 1g file via Filemail. Downloaded this app and there is no way I see to receive a file. Went to website and there is a free membership option, but again, no way to sign up or receive files and the help section is very obtuse. "Recieving file is easy! Just click on your name in the upper right." My name is not there probably because I would need to sign up but there is no way to do that. Moving on.
