Haste Overview

What is Haste? Haste is a web search accelerator app that saves time for users who frequently search the web, specific websites, or with specific configurations. The app allows users to double-hit the command key to open the Haste Search Window and enter their search text, selecting a Custom Search to open the results page in the web browser. The app also offers features such as autofill, search suggestions, search history, and the ability to add/remove/edit/share Custom Searches. The app is compatible with Safari, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and more. The app offers a 14-day trial period with unlimited Custom Searches, and after that, users can still use up to 5 Custom Searches for free. Software Reviews and Criticism

    Love it!

I'm always frustrated by lack of search options on various browsers. Even tougher situation is out of browser. Quicksilver, and I guess maybe others allow these "in-context' searches but they're limited to one search. And Windows OS just has google. This app let's you search anything from anywhere. Big 5 starts

    THANK YOU!

My company lives off of it's internal search tool in which everyone uses with Evil Chrome and bunny1. I prefer Safari this works great!

One of the best quick search tools

Does what it says on the box. No muss, no fuss. Fast, easy to get used to. Get it.

    Good replacement for OmniKey

This is a good replacement for OmniKey which Microsoft killed recently. Two features I’d like to see are specifying which browser to pass the search to (indepentent of the global sys pref) and disabling the menubar menuitem.

I Want to Have Its Babies

Haste is one of those apps that leaves you asking "How did I never live without it?" It's well nigh perfect, not only in the simple, essential elegance of what it does, but in the way that it hardens back to the days when interface design hadn't been corrupted by the ubiquitous mediocrity of the web.
