xcsort Overview
What is xcsort? xcsort is an Xcode extension that allows users to sort lines of text in Xcode. It can be enabled in System Preferences - Extensions and used to sort selected lines of code, JSON data, or text files. Sorting lines of code can help keep #import lines organized and avoid conflicts, while sorting text data files can be useful for alphabetizing lists, dictionaries, or constants. The extension requires Xcode 8 or newer to work and additional instructions can be found on the support webpage.
1. When working with text data files sometimes you might want to sort lines of a list, properties of a dictionary, or named constants.
2. Choose "Editor" - "xcsort" - "Sort Lines" menu command to sort the selected lines.
3. Sorting lines of code is useful to keep #import lines organized and avoid conflicts.
4. xcsort is an Xcode extension that sorts lines of text.
5. When 2 people change a code file they might want to add a new #import line at the same time (at the end of the #include statements block) and will get conflicting changes.
6. The xcsort extension can sort selected text in a file alphabetically.
7. If the #import lines are sorted the chance of such conflict is smaller.
8. It is especially useful with longer lists or long lines when sorting manually becomes tedious.
9. This extension requires Xcode 8 or newer to work.

Elegant, simple, and useful
I love the simplicity of this extension; just sort the lines of text alphabetically. It really makes me happy to see things lined up correctly. Do make sure you enable the extension in System Preferences > Extensions > Xcode Extensions first.
Been wanting this for ages!
So nice to be able to sort. Note that for it to show up in the Editor window, you need to enable it in the System Prefs “Extensions” preference pane.
Doesn't work for XCode 10
Followed the directions in the help file and still couldn't get it to work. I hope you fix it soon, because it looks like a very useful extension.
Abandonware. Hasn't worked in quite some time
