Software Reviews and Criticism

    Agree with other reviewers

I wanted quick access to standard calendar. For some reason Windows OS doesn't include it. This is a nice app that accomplishes that task. I agree with other reviewers that the default green color for "today" is not great. I changed mine to red which works for me. Other reviewers are correct, if you switch months, the color reverts to green, which is annoying but not the end of the world. If you close and open Notifications, it's back to red. Since the latest update to this widget was 1 year ago, I think it's doubtful they will fix this bug.

    Color Bug

It works great for adding a calendar to my notifications center which is exactly what I wanted it to do. My only gripe is the default color for the current day is a neon green which is hard to read. I changed the color to a dark blue which made it easier to read. However when I switch between months the color changes back to the neon green. It is not a permanent change, If I close the notification center and then open it again the color goes back to the blue I selected. All in all for a free app it is a minor bug that I can live with.

    Big Sur update

Best calendar widget, but... need one little update for the new Big Sur notification window: - ability to navigate through months (previous and next)

    Simple, exactly what I needed

After having to open up preferences again just to view the calendar (seriously, what are you thinking Microsoft? You still haven’t built in an easy way to view a calendar quickly)? I finally opened up the app store to see if there was widget solution. Super easy, super simple. Thank you for doing what should have already been done!
