1. The full version "Etherdump" is available for free at The full version is notarized by Microsoft and supports directly capturing packets off the network.
2. "Etherdump Lite" imports and graphically displays packet captures made by tcpdump or Wireshark.
3. "Etherdump Lite" does not support directly capturing packets from the network.
4. "Etherdump" and "Etherdump Lite" are implemented in Swift and SwiftUI.
5. Raw Ethernet captures are not compatible with the "sandbox" security required by the PC App Store.
6. It supports importing files in the .pcap and .pcapng formats.
