Functionally Worthless
This app is AMAZING at showing ads. It works flawlessly on that front. Non-stop, in fact! Figuring that it might also be good at displaying time-related widgets, I set one up to show me the time in Los Angeles. And when I checked it out, it gave me the time in Los Angeles as 4:46pm. The sticking point is that at the time, it was 7:02am where I am on the east coast. So it should have said that the time in Los Angeles was 4:02am. Thinking this was strange, I opened the app to see if I could diagnose the issue, and it immediately served me a full-screen ad! The app clearly exists just to be an ad farm, and I don’t have use for some ad farm on my phone (maybe I will someday! But certainly not today) and so I deleted this app to find one that actually displays accurate time widgets.
Better than ever on iOS 14
When Microsoft released a world clock widget of their own in iOS 14, I thought I wouldn’t need this app anymore. But with so many widget options to choose from—far more than what Microsoft provides—it remains indispensable. The designs are simple, unobtrusive, and blend in well with the rest of the OS. Best of all, it costs next to nothing. So if you’re looking for a way to make your home screen more useful, this is an excellent place to start.
Updated review after seconds added
Now that the app has seconds added, it’s perfect. I added a widget and it updates super fast. As promised, once the seconds were added, my review has changed from a 2 Star to a 5 Star and I paid to remove adds even tho I never will open the app. It’s literally just being used as the widget. Thanks for the quick update and dev response!
Keep up the good work!
We have both your World Clock and Cheatsheet (paid versions) and are happy with them. Please consider NOT removing both apps in the Today View as you can view more data compared to widgets. Also as a suggestion, is there a way you can incorporate an AM/PM indicator when the World Clock is in ANALOG view as my colleagues find it more aesthetically appealing when the clock is in analog view. Will continue to keep supporting your work! Also we had to do a restart for the Today View widgets (Today View>Customize >Edit) to reappear and be selected (this is not the iOS 14 widgets). Thank you and stay safe! EDIT: Apologies, what we meant was AM/PM indicator for the analog view in the Today View widget not the iOS 14 widget.
