Resolution Changer Overview
What is Resolution Changer? Resolution Changer is a minimal app that appears in the menu bar and allows users to quickly and easily change their display settings. It offers non-standard resolutions and ignores the operating system's setting of hiding potentially unsafe resolutions. The app requires a subscription, which automatically renews unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Users can manage their subscription and turn it off in their Account Settings. The app's privacy policy and terms of use can be found on the developer's website.
1. Resolution Changer shows a status item in your menu bar that lets you quickly and easily change your display settings.
2. This is done by ignoring the operation system setting of hiding potentially unsafe resolutions.
3. Depending on your display setup, you can set the screen resolution.

the only thing it seems to do is adjust the scaleing of the display and not accually change the resolution.
$21 per month?! Ludicrous.
Can't try it without enabled an autorenewing subscription for $21 per month in order to start your 3 day trial. This is insane.

wonder how it passed the review?
Probably not what you are looking for
If you are like me, you were looking for something that would let an older PC (late 2015) operate a pair of 4k displays at lower resolution than 3840x2160 (perhaps 2560x1440 or 1920x1080) but at a higher framerate (the trails my mouse was making at 30fps were really annoying). This app didn’t allow me to change the fps, even at a lower frame rate, in fact it seemed to just use the scaling options the OS has built in. Lame, and I wish I could get my money back.
