Nero Receiver Overview
What is Nero Receiver? Nero Receiver App allows users to stream videos, photos, and music from their PC to their mobile device within the same WiFi network. The app also enables users to stream media files between different mobile devices within the same WiFi network. Nero Receiver App is compatible with numerous UPnP/DLNA media servers and media player apps. The app offers features such as automatic categorization of photos by content, face recognition, geotagging, and themed slideshows. To use the app, users need to have their PC and mobile device on the same WiFi network. It is recommended to use the app only in private and secured wireless networks.
1. Stream videos, photos & music via your PC in your home network and play your media wirelessly on your mobile device with super easy to use Nero Receiver App.
2. E.g. use Nero Streaming Player App on one mobile device as a wireless media controller and via Nero Receiver App let your second mobile device become your wireless media player.
3. Nero Receiver App is also compatible with numerous other UPnP / DLNA media servers and media player apps.
4. Also stream media files between different mobile devices within the same WiFi network – even platform independent.
5. Select a video, photo, a slideshow, or a music playlist in Nero MediaHome.
6. In the upper right corner you'll find a screen symbol as ‘Play To’ device selection window.
7. Select your tablet or smartphone from the list.

9. Your PC and mobile device need to be on the same WiFi.
