    Great! Has multi-disc spanning

I was looking for days for a burning app that has spanning so I could backup all of my photos (and store them in a fireproof safe as a backup to my external HDD), meaning that you can throw an entire folder no matter how large into it, and it’ll burn it to multiple discs automatically. I used Disco first, which was free but unsupported since 2011. Disco did the job for a while, but it ruined as many DVDs as it burned, and it simply refused to work with dual layer dics. I tried to find a feature list for Roxio Toast Burn that said it had spanning, but for some reason that doesn’t exist. So I’m telling you here, it DOES have spanning, which is a surprisingly rare feature. If that’s what you’re looking for, you’ll need to spend the $20 because the free ones don’t have it or aren’t reliable.

    Best Bang for the Buck

I had suffered with Corel's bigger product, Toast, for years: it wouldn't even load on my systems because it kept trying to catalog my media on my production system (Tens of thousands of files) and would never finish. I didn't need that feature. At all. Burn does what I need (burns Blu-ray) for a fraction of the cost, but lacks features that I never used. Oh well. Warning: just ignore the disk spanning feature. If you can't fit [something] on one disk, and cannot break-up the file, put it on a spinning magnetic hard drive for back-up. Microsoft's move to APFS seems to have broken spanning and left my 50GB (and larger) back-ups in the trash.

    Can’t burn mp3 disks

Maybe this is the wrong app since they have burn apps for different things but I can’t burn mp3 disks. Windows burns data disks awesome it’s self so if that’s all it can di I wasted a bunch of money. I am gonna do some checking and see if I can figure out why it’s not working and will change this if it turns out to be something other than the app but I wasted 4 blank cd’s so far so my guess is I have to pay another 20 bucks if I want to burn mp3’s and anther 20 if I want to burn dvd’s becuase they have to make them all a separate app. Update: Turns out Windows can do this without extra software. I made a mp3 disk just by clicking the songs I wanted and clicking hte burn icon and it did them perfectly so yes I did waste 20 bucks. Also I shoukd have also realized that Itunes is good at making them also.

    Very Poor Technical Support

The software imedeatly crashes on launch. I contated the technical support, all threw email by the way, and after ONE email trying to solve the problem, was asked to create a new account and try the software on the new account. It worked, as i would have expected it to. After all, they do sell the software so it must work somehow or another. After it worked on the new acccount the support stopped. I have something, obviously, that is keeping the software from working. Is that not why they have TECHNICAL support. I would think there would have been some kind of attempt to help solve the problem after that. Good luck if you try to use the software with any other apps running on your equipment.
