myAddress Overview

What is myAddress? myAddress is an app that displays an overview of all your Mac system information on a single scroll view, as well as some remote features called "Action Request". The app relies on your personal iCloud connection, allowing you to take an overview and execute remote actions on Wi-Fi/Mobile networks without VPN/Firewall/Router configurations. The "Photo Captured" page shows your Mac screen shot/FaceTime camera capture remotely, which is a convenient way to check the status of tasks like long-time video rendering or huge file copying without being near your Mac. The "Action Request" features include Sleep, Mute Speaker, Screen Shot, and Silent photo capture by the Mac with FaceTime camera. The app also includes a "Buddy" feature that allows you to view your friend's Mac information and support "Remote Action" over different iCloud accounts. The app requires myAddress Mac version 4 or above for full features, and the price includes both macOS and iOS versions.

    Lovely app

    It does just what I wanted, which is to report both public (WAN) and private (LAN) addresses. Plus, it provides information on disk and battery health and usage. I am particularly pleased that the developer has appeared to respond to user concerns, such as providing the option of a static display of IP addresses, instead of just an icon, or fixing bugs such failing to update when the LAN address changes. I would love to have an iOS version of this.

    Wish I could see temperature in the menu bar

    I enjoy this app, but I do wish there was a way to display the CPU temperature in the menu bar like other apps (Macs Fan Control)

    Installs An Anonymous Helper

    I began having what looked like spyware on my Windows. It turns out that it's an anonymous helper installed by MyAddress. The pop-up asks people to click a button and install an unknown app from a private GoogleDrive. That should get this app thrown out of the App Store.

    Ethernet & WAN Only, No Wi-Fi

    If this utility included an option to display a wi-fi address, I would find it more useful, as I never connect my PC to a network via cable. Otherwise, it’s a nifty tool with lots of nice features and capabilities. An attempt to send a message to the developer via their web site failed, so I don’t know how current things are.

    I Like it and it works well, except I have never been able to get email notoifactions, no matter how I've tried to set it up.
