    Good reader with one exception

This was a good reader except every single time I swipe right (to review something on the previous page), it takes me out of the book and back to the library. I then have to search for the book I’m reading in the library and re-open it. Since I go back to previous pages quite frequently, this is pretty frustrating and renders this reader unusable to me. I don’t know if it’s just a glitch on the paid version, I’ve never had an app do this -and I’ve been using ereaders going back all the way to stanza 😀 I’d be happy to go back to it if this issue is addressed. Response to developers: Why does the swipe right take back to library? There’s a button at the top that seems to do that - and in all other reading apps, that’s the way to go back to library. Swiping to go back to library seems rather asinine since swiping right is also the way to go back to the previous page. Considering the large size of phones now, it is rather hard to one-handedly swipe from the middle of the screen since I have smaller hands. I don’t expect to have to use both hands to turn pages on a reading app. If I wanted to do that, I’d just read a hard copy book.

Useful: text selection methods addressed by Developer

The premier app to work with a wide range of DRM-free materials. My complaint related to (what i perceived as)the app’s erratic text selection behavior. Developer reached out to ‘tutor’ me in Apples text selection system. I was a bit embarrassed. I have used iPhone and iPad from day one, but, oh well, live and learn. please use this app to open a world of reading and also, to enjoy the excellent support === old Review === Very much appreciate the strengths of the app. Biggest problem is with pop up dialogue following text selection. To invoke the selection dialogue banner/box, it is very much a gamble between working, or needing a second touch to call it into action, or losing the selection completely due to the additional, and unnecessary manipulation. This app is on the cusp of being a near perfect reader; now, there stands in the way this text selection bug which severely detracts from its usefulness Looking forward to a fix.

Can't recommend it: bizarre results and my book is GONE

My bad, should have backed 8\up the test book. Allowed an import, now the title is gone from files. Glad it wasn't that important. Hoping it does no more damage before I can flush this t***! The interface is bizarre. Why have to import anyway - that's strange. Solid, consistent interface design may seem stodgy, or whatever, but it works. Users can use a PROGRAM without studying how to use it to donstandard things. What is that row of ICONS that appeared in some screens or views? They were neither labeled nor intuitive, and they were like nothing else I've seen, and I've seen quite a bit. I'm too tired to figure it out...maybe there's a 90 page book or plurible website that explains it. Geez, is originality a replacement for usability? How? Why? Ok, here's a joke, you'll love it! Three splggblts stnôj@ into a 38gj ? Wizjjjtis blaonk! Hahaha!

    Best eBook reader

I have tried 6 or 7 readers and this is hands down the best I've tried. Importing books works great, and the categorization is great. Others may have some of these same features but are either way to technical (and I'm an engineer) or clunky and/or broken all together. Also this seems to be an actively developed app and not some abandoned app someone is just collecting revenue on. Kudos to the developer for finally creating what I need to read with. Also love the multi format support along with comics.
