Show & Write It! Overview
What is Show & Write It!? Show & Write It for the Mac is a companion app for Show & Write It for the iPad. It allows teachers to display written notes and images sent from an iPad through a projector connected to the Mac. It enables teachers to pose questions, annotate images, and check for student understanding while walking around the classroom. Students can also display and explain their work captured with the iPad's camera or images stored in the photo album. Multiple users can connect and display content, increasing collaboration and student engagement. Both Show & Write It for the Mac and iPad need to be on the same wireless network.
1. With Show & Write It for the Windows and iPad, teachers can pose a question and annotate an image while walking around the classroom to check for student understanding and mastery of material; or students can display and explain their work captured with the iPad's camera, or images stored in the photo album.
2. Show & Write It for the Windows receives written notes and images sent from an iPad running Show & Write It, and displays the content through a projector connected to the Windows or other HDMI compatible display.
3. Note: Show & Write It for the iPad, available on the App Store, is required for Show & Write It for the Windows to receive images and notes.
4. Show & Write it also allows multiple users to connect and display content, increasing collaboration and student engagement in the classroom.
5. Both Show & Write It for the Windows and iPad need to be on the same wireless network.
6. Show & Write It for the Windows is the host companion app for Show & Write It for the iPad.
