  Seriously? limiting the number of downloads on free templates

  The application itself is good but if you are expecting to download a lot of the free templates that are on the site at one time, forget about it. They limit downloads to 1 per month. Come on, the templates are free!!!! Why do you force people to 1 pay for the application then nickle and dime them. Oh the way you can download all of the free templates is to download them 1 at a time per month; 1 free template per month. If you want more, they want you to signup for a recurring change of $24/year and still charge you for the other templates that you may want and that they do not consider as free. Why not charge for all templates and let the free ones be free?

  Great Program! Great Customer Service!

  The program does what it says it does. The new command driven option is nice. I had a simple problem in that all of my diagrams built using the new command driven option were solid black. I emailed the company and received a response within 12 hours. (I needed to hit “restore default” under the style option.) Really quick response. Now everything works as it should. I use the program several times a week to build flow diagrams and will probably use it more with the new command driven option.

  Life is Easier

  I used to HATE HATE HATE doing sequence diagrams. You spend hours building them and then find that you need to make a few changes which takes a ton more time. Moving things around and formatting them takes forever and is tedious. I found this application and now I LOVE LOVE LOVE doing sequence diagrams. You can put in each message and specify the source and destination in one step and then hit BUILD and the software builds the diagram for you. It is a snap to reorganize the diagram. Putting in colors and changing the connectors is easy.

  Productive from the get-go

  Looked over a few Diagramming products in the store, decided to give this one a try though it was quite a bit more than another I was considering, though considerably less then a couple of others. After install started it and began to give it a try. Within 1-2 minutes, *literally*, I was productive and diagramming an extremely important project that required a serious tool. After a couple of hours, still going strong. Can't say that about very many products that deliver this level of utility, and I absolutely love it when I can. No difficult interface, no long study to get it to do what you want it to do, provide diagras. Straight-forward and direct, clean interface, good looking diagrams, all the functionality I need in diagramming. Cons: A flake here and there, nothing serious yet. Duplicating a grouped object loses the connectors in the group, the connectors to the group remain. Picking out closely aligned objects is difficult, you can click right in the middle of an object and drag and if a larger object is pretty close to it you'll drag the larger object not the smaller. Work-around is to move the larger, position the smaller, then move the larger back to where you want it. Not ideal but not critical. UnDo works sometimes not all the time. Doesn't seem to be able to UnDo multiple changes and haven't found a redo yet, so walking back and forth through changes/undo's isn't a strong suit. Otherwise, best $20 spent yet on a product.
