MSG Informer Overview
What is MSG Informer? MSG Informer is a tool that works with the Edge Adaptive Network Access Control system to provide visibility into the network and display information on every connected device, including MAC and IP addresses, user credentials, VLAN tags, and session details. The Endpoint Visibility solution, built on the Edge7200 platform, also offers endpoint scanning capabilities to uncover additional endpoint data such as OS and service pack levels, antivirus version and current status, firewall settings, and application requirements. MSG Informer can filter and sort the list of devices/clients for a detailed perspective of the networks attached to the Edge system.
1. The Endpoint Visibility solution, based on the Edge7200 platform, can provide the necessary visibility into the network that the Administrator needs by displaying and reporting all devices connected to network segments.
