What is Cronette? Cronette is a software designed for Mac users to automate tasks that need to be executed automatically. It can be used on both Mac workstations and servers for batch unattended tasks to execute during the night or for recurring tasks to be performed on a regular basis. The app provides different types of launch tasks, and any task can be specified to launch different types of execution. Users can assign a name and a note to recognize each task, and there are different plan types available, including daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly. Cronette allows up to ten different times to run in the days of the daily/weekly/monthly/yearly plan. The app can be used for backups, report creations, email sending, launching applications or documents, opening different types of URLs unattended, inserting a message into the log, executing unattended Unix commands, copying or moving files or folders, and more. Cronette is compatible with Dark Mode and Light Mode appearance, and it uses a separate thread, so the application never hangs even for very time-consuming tasks. The app includes a PDF user guide.
