    Defines High action arcade

When I play two of these games, I sometimes feel like I'm getting a mild cardio workout...the excitement builds and builds. Nucleus is absolutely addicting.... better than Asteroids or Maelstrom. It is very difficult to master, but once you get the hang of the controls you can get to the higher levels (8 or 9) frequently. I've never gotten higher than level 10. Graphics and sound are superior, and the soundtrack is very good. Fireworms is my second favorite. I've already played 9 levels, after which it states 'You Win' and you're finished. Still, it is a challenge and a great way to pass the time. Warheads reminds me of Missile Command, which I never mastered, and I haven't played this version very much, but the graphics and sound are great. I would like to find more games that have this level of playability. Good job, Pangea!

    Pangea read please!

Great little arcade games! I love Nucleus, in fact I out of the three games that's the only one I play. So I am primarily going to focus this review on that game. First off, great great great graphics, physics, and detail. Love just watching rocks, space ice star things, and giant piles of junk blow up. Giving us an objective is brilliant and keeps the game interesting, in short great game! Now here is what you could do to make it better: Allow us to choose different ships (myabe make them customizable where you unlock parts based on points.) Add more levels! (You know like different backgrounds and what not.) Give us more different kinds of debris and powerups. Whatever you do keep it simple! That's what makes this game fun, it's simple, challenging, and down right gorgeous. Personally I think you should do a series with this little ship and playing style. Give us different kinds of games with bosses and evil ships to destroy. OR you could do online multiplayer!!! I would pay for that easy. Anyhow that's my two bits. Thanks for the great game!

Grab it ASAP - this is a GREAT (set of) game(s)!

Pangea's software is always excellent - and to have this set of 3 games available so cheap, is a wonderful surprise. These are not simple shareware (a.k.a. "shovelware") games, but are top-quality products, which - more importantly - are incredibly FUN to play. All are actually BETTER than the arcade classics which they pay homage to, IMHO, since the gameplay, graphics, and sound have been updated so much. (Note: If your computer can handle it, boost the "Bling Factor" to "High" and enjoy the incredible over-the-top effects) A truly great, GREAT set of games - kudos again to Brian Greenstone and the crew at Pangea for all their work.

    Impressive

I thought the games were really nice. Then my son came in with some old 3D glasses and told me there was a 3D setting. We found the set up, changed it to 3D. Really impressive to see the depth of field. Objects, however, don't seem to fly out of the screen at you. Graphics are intense. Would really like to try it on my LCD big screen TV. Maybe 3D TV without need to buy a 3D TV. I can't figure out how the programmers can do this. But I'm just an old fart who has only programmed in FORTRAN. I doubt most readers of the review have ever heard of it. Keep up the outstanding work Pangea.
