Project Office X Overview
What is Project Office X? Project Office X is a project management app that uses the Gantt method to help users manage multiple projects, assign resources, track remaining work, and identify potential bottlenecks. The app offers a 14-day free trial and basic project management options such as Gantt chart view, outline view, resource and base calendars, resource management, multiple baselines, critical path, customized calendar, filtering, projects and reports sharing, and iCloud backup. The Pro version includes the ability to import/export Microsoft Project® (XML) files and a network diagram view. The app is available for macOS X and offers tutorials and other information on the developer's website. The privacy policy and terms of use are also available on the website.
1. • Critical path: Project Office X displays your project’s critical path, which is the series of tasks that are necessary in order to finish your project on schedule.
2. Project calendars are used to schedule tasks, and if resources are assigned to tasks, resource calendars are used as well.
3. • Resource and Base calendars: Each project automatically includes a base calendar with some general working hours and a resource calendar that specifies a unique schedule for a specific resource.
