What is ClipTools? ClipTools is a utility app that provides various functions in the Menu Bar. It includes a Clipboard Manager, Saved Clips, Smart Clips, Group Paste, Date and Time, Lorem Ipsum, Change Case, Selection Actions, Calculations, Stacks, and Keyboard Shortcuts. The app allows users to easily manage and access their clipboard history, create smart clips with extra functionality, paste several clips at once, and perform various actions such as converting numbers to words, sorting lines, and performing calculations. Users can also customize the app by assigning specific functions to keyboard shortcuts.
1. • Clipboard Manager: Plain text and rich text clips are kept right at the top of the menu, with more stored in a submenu so as to keep things compact.
2. • Calculations: Type a math formula and paste the result, or select a formula in text and convert it to the result.
3. • Smart Clips: Create powerful smart clips with extra functionality like prompting for input or including parts of copied clips.
4. • Lorem Ipsum: Paste sample text in a variety of lengths.
5. • Keyboard Shortcuts: Access the entire menu with the keyboard, or assign specific functions to a keyboard shortcut.
