  Should I use the DU recorder.

  Yes. The DU recorder is a great and easy way to record your screen and your video. I first went looking for a very easy free screen recording software and I found this and OBS. I opened OBS first because I have heard good things about them but then I could not manage to figure out how to use OBS so I gave up on it and went here and Im glad that I did. The only thing I would have to add is they dont have a function to only record your screens sound. You can however mute and open sound so that if there is auto that you want to capture and your in a quite room you could probably find a reasonable way to do it. The DU recorder I have used for more than 25 reocrdings and the recordings are great quality.

  ALERT: DO NOT USE DU RECORDER

  I purchased DU Recording because the test version I tried out was very simple to use. However, the second day I used it to record a 20 minute vedio while I was not watching the screen and when I went to stop recording and go into iCloud to retreave the recording - to my horror - I saw another curser on the screen and heard noises coming out of my computer that sounded like some live person was definity checking out the insides of my computer. Right afterwards, I did a web search on this firm and saw a number of reviews - some pretty thorough ones - that said it was NOT safe. So, buyers beware, and to Microsoft - PLEASE TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THE SAFETY OF THIS PRODUCT THAT I DOWNLOADED FROM YOUR Microsoft STORE.

  It actually exists

  Are you tired of having to learn too much about apps to know which one you actually need to get? I am too. Which is why I am going to spend some of the time I normally use for research to write this review. 1. I wanted a screen recorder but needed it to be able to keep up with the definition of my Windows desktop 2. I saw this app was free so I figured I was try it first before having to compare the apps that cost $5-25 3. The APP literally does exactly what it says... I push reocrd screen, and it records and converts it into a file that has but one question ahead.... should I click the file to save it .... or the trash can to delete it. And the definition is phenomenal. Sharpton for president ya'll. I'm outtie

  Simple and effective

  The DU Recorder does what I need it to, which is record the entire screen, or a portion of the screen. It's great for recording Zoom lectures so I can review the material later during an assignement. It puts the files in a folder automatically, but you can click on the folder icon immediately after using it and put the video where you want it.
