What is Canvas Software? Studio is a digital painting and photo editing application available for iPad and MacOS. It features a custom-built, GPU-accelerated Canvas5 drawing engine that offers a wide range of features such as multiple brush textures, layer adjustments, image filters, and more. Users can share app documents across devices, import and export artwork as files, and export to Studio, PNG, and JPG formats. The app allows users to draw, erase, select, and transform on the canvas, use blend modes, layer masks, and adjustments to make non-destructive modifications, import images from various sources, select colors using the HSL-based color picker, choose from a set of brushes or create their own using brush dynamics, flip the canvas horizontally or vertically, and apply adjustments to photos. The app is still in its early stages, and user feedback is encouraged for improvements and new feature suggestions.
