Great tool, but with a BUG
I use M1 macs. I have an M1 PC, an Air, and an M1 Max PC, and this tool works well. However, I often forget that I even have it because it never auto-opens when I open the Windows; no matter how many times I turn it on, it goes back to turn off. And it seems like the developer abandoned the app/tool. It is excellent but, sadly, left behind. Because even the dark mode is broken at the moment. I might have to build one myself, for that matter. (Right now trying to use an app called Sip), I hope it does work well and open at login. It is 10 dollars, but I'm willing to pay for it.
Nice and minimalist, but...
I really like the look of this app, and how little screen real-estate it takes up. My biggest problem with it however is there is no color history. Color history is something I use all the time, so to me this is a deal breaker which is a shame.
My favorite picker, but seems to have been abandoned
I'm experiencing the "launch at startup" bug other users have mentioned, on an M1 Windows. I also wish I had the option to see the Hex code, live, when using the color picker.
It's a keeper
Trying out a bunch of color pickers and this app is a keeper. A lot of others were a clear delete... immediately.
Innacurate, permissions absent, custom copy
Measured colors were discordant with system Digital Color Meter and Affinity Designer. Changing color profiles didn't change outcome. Oddly, the app does not ask for screen recording permissions, which would be required for its functionality.
