1. The ATOMOS - Remote app provides external controls for ATOMOS devices including the Shogun, Shogun Ultra, Shogun CONNECT as well as all NINJA V equipped with the ATOMOS CONNECT accessory or an AtomX SYNC module.
2. Being able to adjust these settings remotely is ideal for situations where it is difficult or unsafe to access your rig, such as when it is mounted out of reach as part of a “crash cam" setup or on a gimbal or stabilizer.
3. For monitoring, AtomRemote can control playback, select dynamic-range settings, apply custom 3-D LUTs, and use default color-space transformations.
4. In addition to starting and stopping a recording, AtomRemote can activate a full suite of image-analysis tools, including exposure and focus assistance.
5. Input options let you select connection type, select gamma/EOTF, and adjust gamut settings.
6. The app communicates wirelessly via Bluetooth LE to perform remote configuration and operation tasks.
7. Output controls provide options for 4K-to-HD downconversion and HDR output.

Shogun 7 Connect
Atomos states that it is possible to control the Shogun 7 Connect by using the App. But it is only possible to pair if being in a range of 2 meters away from the Shogun, then shortly after being paired it will be disconnected and then rapid connect/disconnect happen but none of the controls works if connected. -> Useless
This app is worthless
The app “connects” to the atom sync but it doesnt detect my Sony a7S3 camera. Using the Ninja V, not the +. If you guys read these reviews and think my SYNC module may have a problem, please reply to this review. Thx
Does not support Ninja V
This is a joke. The marketing promotes remote control of the Ninja V. It does not work. The support page: atomos.com/atomx does not exist. Yet another product from Atomos released before it was finished. I was once a fan of Atomos products. This is a major test of my brand loyality.
