What is Fractal Architect X? Fractal Architect X (FA X) is a free flame fractal creation app that allows users to create 2D and 3D flame fractal images of great beauty. The app is inspired by the popular Windows Apophysis app and supports an array of features that its users will love. FA X has a 64-bit CPU render engine and supports features not supported by Apophysis, such as color gradient editor, RGB color curves, parameter value sliders, anti-aliased output, multiple final transforms, multiple variation groups in a transform, and more. The app is a sister app to Fractal Architect 5 (FA 5), which is easier to use. FA X is extensible with optional subscriptions, including Silver and Gold subscriptions, which offer additional features such as unlimited image size, GPU rendering, animation sequencer, and more. The app's auto-renewable subscription terms are displayed in the in-app storefront, and payment is charged to the iTunes account at confirmation of purchase.
